A large portion of this site is dedicated
to enjoying Toyota Land Cruisers. Below, you'll find sections on working
on Land Cruisers, restoring Land Cruisers, wheeling Land Cruisers, linking
to other Land Cruiser sites and, well, enjoying our old Land Cruisers. Happy
cruisin'!
This is the section of articles about how to
do everything from sandblasting to swapping powerplants. Most of it
is first hand, but there are a number of other wonderful contributors.
The main purpose here is to help others as I have been helped, in
figuring out how to work on our old Land Cruisers. If I can do it,
you can too!
This was my first Land Cruiser, a 1976 FJ40.
It was our family car for many years from when the kids were first
born to now that they're grown up. It got rusty and I decided to restore
her back to like-new. This is the documentary section of this journey.
This section is a a compilation of various articles
on some of the Land Cruiser 4 wheeling trips I've been on. Like the
Tech Tips section, most are my own writing, but there are a number
of wonderful friends who have contributed.
Being a Cruiserhead, whenever you see another
distinctive Land Cruiser, among your instincts are to find the owner,
chat up about Land Cruisers, or at least leave a copy of Toyota Trails
under their wiper after you've photographed their rig. A collection
of photos and narrative of just driving around and seeing other Land
Cruisers.
A compilation of links to other Land Cruiser-oriented
sites, along with my discussion of what you might find on each.
